JOB SUMMARY:
Field Technicians ensure optimum operational performance for systems installed at the customers' site. They deliver technical service to customers including installation, relocation, repair and preventative maintenance. They optimize system performance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure maximum overall customer satisfaction.
Field Technicians interpret customer needs and clarify if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, technical support representatives, or applications engineering. They are dispatched and directed by their Technical Sales Manager with a primary function of repairing customer's equipment.

Requires skills in organization, problem solving, and customer relations. Requires basic interpersonal and communication skills in the business environment and a commitment to professionally represent CADBLU with its customers. Ability to speak effectively before customers and act in an advisory capacity. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines with multiple interruptions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagrammatic or schedule form.
Excellent customer interaction skills. Proficient in troubleshooting, configuration, installation and repair of computer and electronic systems, as well as a solid mechanical aptitude. Windows NT4.0/2000/XP experience mandatory. A+ Certification highly desirable. Solid knowledge of electro/mechanical device repair with attention to detail.
Travel required. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT /PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Do the following on a frequent basis: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, sit and talk. Tasks can include using equipment, which requires working with electrical hazards, high-power lasers and photo-polymer resins, which, if handled incorrectly, can cause health hazards/injuries. Extensive travel is required. Valid driver's license with proof of good driving record required. Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
